  1. Hi! I came here by way of Quince and Co. and love the Molokini shawl. I'm curious how you came up with the names of your patterns? We regurlarly travel to the islands and the names of your patterns make me want to knit/crochet them just to take me there!

  2. I was recently in Hawaii, and was pretty inspired by my trip there.

    Molokini is a part of Hawaii with the most clear blue water

    Mauna Kea is an observatory—the coldest place I've experienced in Hawaii (hence the hat)

    Petrel is a type of Hawaiian bird.

    Anthurium is a beautiful red flower.

    Kukui is a native tree to Hawaii that has little seed pods that reminded me of the bobbles on the sweater.

    Waipi'o is a fantastic secluded beach with dark sand.
